WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING

There is no food available on the Island unless it is pre-ordered, however drinks can be obtained. A tripod and long lenses are recommended.

You can buy various pack lunches from the operator but must pre- order 48 hours beforehand. See  http://www.360discovery.co.nz

TUTORIAL

CPF Photowalks are intended to provide participants with an opportunity to learn more about photography. In this case, there will be 45 minutes on the ferry plus time on the island, where senior members are happy to provide assistance.

There will not be any formal tutoring, rather the onus is on participants to ask.  If you want information, "just ask".

The ferry trip provides a great opportunity to cover some of the basics, then it is a matter of tagging onto the senior members during the shoot.

A strong recommendation is that you bring and use a tripod. While a tripod may not be essential, it is a great way to enable someone to see exactly what you intend to capture. If you have a tripod - bring it.

After the shoot, images can be posted to a "cloud" called DROPBOX where you can compare your efforts with others' and also request a critique of your work. When your place is confirmed you will be sent a link from DROPBOX. You will not be able to access the folder until we register your email address. The easiest way to upload is to create a free account. Make sure you name your folder and images. Instructions are online.  Once your email has been posted the link will be: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gzywphom3y7j8zv/44rVZlSx5n
