Leading landscape photographers from New Zealand and overseas to display the very best of New Zealand landscape photography during the Auckland Festival of Photography

Utterly magnificent images show the greatest achievements of New Zealand photography and illustrate what can be created with state of the art equipment and reproduction techniques.

The lineup of photographers is highly impressive and includes:

Winners of NZ Landscape Photographer of the year.

Winners of Australian Landscape Photographer of the year.


Mike Langford and Jackie Rankin, of Queenstown,  Andre Apse, of Westland, John Doogan Christchurch, and from Auckland Harry Janseen, Mike Hollman and Reubin Price. Fletcher Christian and Ken Duncan from Australia. Kevin Rankin USA and more from as far away as England. 

Also included are some of New Zealand’s first landscape photographs produced around 1860 by the Rev Dr. John Kinder.

The exhibition is presented by Kinder House and the Contemporary Photography Foundation who’s aim is to foster the enjoyment and profile of photography.

Silent Auction

To place a bid, please complete the Silent Auction Bid Form and pass it to one of the organizers. The amount of your bid will be recorded on the outside of the Envelope and the bid will be posted beside the work.


The Work may have a Reserve Price.  However even if the reserve price is not reached, the Photographer reserves the right to accept your bid.

All bids are inclusive of GST.

Successful bidder will be notified by 30th June.

Payment is required within 7 days of notification. If payment is not made within 7 days after notification the Work may be offered to the next highest bidder.

Payment to be made by cheque, bank cheque, telegraphic transfer, or cash.

Risk of damage or loss of the Work passes to Buyer on delivery.

Bank account details will be provided at the time of notification.

Delivery will not be available until payment is complete in cleared funds.

Buyer is responsible for collection the Work within 7 days after being notified that it is available for delivery.

Seller is the Photographer named above. Buyer acknowledges that whilst CPF is hosting the auction CPF has makes no warranties of any kind regarding the Work and has no legal liability to the Buyer of any kind and that any contract arising from the auction is exclusively between the Photographer and the Buyer.  CPF may be entitled to a commission or to be reimbursed expenses by the Photographer.

Photographer is the copyright owner and will retain copyright in the Work.
