TRELISE CATWALK SHOOT

 


Join in the fun and excitement of a real life catwalk shoot.


Trelise Cooper has invited a team of 20 photographers to shoot her "2012 Summer Fashion Parade"


It will be held at:


Coutts Mercedes, 2 Great South Road, Newmarket


On Friday 17th August at 6pm.


Photographers will be able to shoot "Back Stage" prior the parade and from the media area during the parade.


All participants are requested to attend a briefing meeting at 6pm in the Main Coutts Mercedes Car Showroom immediately prior to the shoot.


Late change: We have been advised that it is not possible to enter the Coutts Mecedes Showroom for the meeting and hence it is not possible to shoot BACKSTAGE.  tickets can therefore be obtained from Fergus Clark who will be at the Main Entrance to the Parade from 6 to 6:30pm.  Please ensure you have your ticket by 6:30pm. We apologise for this change which is outside our control.


 


Entrance Ticket will be issued and final instructions given at the meeting.


The dress code is "tidy". The preferred colour is black. Failing that just as dark as possible.


Lighting on the catwalk will be tricky. Expect to use around 125th sec at F2.8 ISO 200.  The ideal lens is 70 to 200mm F2.8.  


The use of FLASH during the parade is no allowed. However flash may be used in the "Back Stage" area



All participants are welcomed to participate in the 2012 Fashion Exhibition and Competition.  This will be held approximately 3 weeks after NZ Fashion Week. Exact details to follow..


TERMS


Photographers are free to use the images for personal use and in club competitions, but no images can be sold or published in any printed media or mainstream internet.


 


 


WHO SHOULD ATTEND


Anyone that has an SLR camera. While shooting conditions may be difficult, this is a great place to try something different.  Beginners are welcome.




WHAT TO BRING


SLR camera with manual capability. Flashlight, Monopods are recommended. Tripods can be used providing the legs are tied together,not spread out. Small ladders in the 1 to 2m range are useful and may be used alongside the main media stand.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRICE ON THE BOOKING FORM SHOWS THE NON MEMBER PRICE. MEMBERS SHOULD ONLY PAY THE MEMBERS PRICE. This will be simplified, when the Members site is integrated.
